Why are you recommending we order school uniforms in good time?
In some cases, school uniform items are taking a little longer than usual to arrive with us.

We always want to provide a reliable and efficient service to our customers and see all of your children start school in September is their smart new uniforms, however, there are some supply chain issues, which means that in order to do this we need to ask you to allow more time and place your orders slightly earlier than usual.

Why is this happening?
As widely reported in the media, China is continuing to pursue a zero-tolerance strategy in dealing with Covid – they quickly enforce a complete lockdown in areas that have positive cases. The implications for this are supply chain challenges due to manufacturing delays and port closures. Some, not all products and suppliers are affected, but at times orders are taking more time than usual to arrive with us in the shop.

Rest assured we are working closely with our suppliers to do all we can to secure the stock we need to meet our customers’ needs in time for the start of the school term.

When should I order my school uniform?
We recommend you place any orders for school uniform items as soon as possible, and certainly during June and July if you want to guarantee them for the start of the school term in September. Whilst orders placed after July are likely to be fulfilled unfortunately we cannot guarantee this.

Have you heard about our ‘Put By’ scheme?
Please make use of our ‘Put By’ scheme. Our ‘Put By’ service is totally free of charge and allows you to order uniforms early with a deposit payment of just £10. Your order will be reserved for you until you are ready to collect in time for the start of term in September. Some customers make regular payments towards the total cost, but the scheme is totally flexible with no set payments or dates. Your uniform will be ready for you to collect once it is all paid for.
